LUCI MINOGUE
Luci Minogue has been working as a Physiotherapist for over 10 years in private practice. She enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and has a special interest in Physio-led Exercise, completing all four levels of DMA Clinical Pilates training, as well as cancer rehabilitation and pre and post natal care. She is also qualified in Integrated Dry Needling (www.dryneedling.com.au) and finds this a fantastic treatment option for many conditions.
Luci has a special interest in helping men and women diagnosed with cancer rehabilitate their bodies through the Pinc & Steel programs. After gaining accreditation in New Zealand in 2009 Luci brought The Pinc Program (previously known as Pink Pilates) to Melbourne, being the first Physiotherapist in Victoria to offer the program. She finds it to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. The PINC program is designed to help rehabilitate women with cancer to regain their strength, mobility and improve their well being. In 2012 Luci also gained accreditation to provide The Steel Program (previously known as Steel Pilates), designed to inspire men with cancer to take the first steps on their road to recovery. Read more about the PINC & STEEL Programs here.
As a Physiotherapist Luci believes that it is important to empower a patient during their rehabilitation and that prevention is just as important as cure! Luci will look at your whole body and will most likely send you home with some exercises. She is very excited to be able to offer Physiotherapy, Physio-led Exercise and the Pinc & Steel Programs to Cheltenham and surrounds.

URVI SHELAR

Receptionist/Office Manager
ELLA SZLEGIER
Ella completed her Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) at Monash University. It is here that she discovered that she really had a natural affinity for all things related to the human body.
Providing the best patient care and customer service is always a priority for Ella. She loves being a part of that. In physiotherapy, it is just amazing to share a patient's journey from injury, through the setbacks, the achievements, the emotional transformation and finally right through to recovery and wellness... She feels so fortunate to be a part of that.
From Medical Receptionist to Course Coordinator, to Senior Administration and now Office Management and a decade of experience under her belt she loves the challenges that her role brings on a daily basis since joining the team.
As part of the administrative team at Inner Strength Bayside she oversees aspects of Finance, Work Cover & TAC Claims, Medicare, DVA, NDiS, Health Fund and all other practice related processes!
Outside of the clinic - Ella dedicates time to the care and entertainment of her avian buddy Pico (a Quaker Parrot), she nurtures her creative side in her craft nook, loves to travel down to her country home to work on her renovations, and getting outdoors (whether it's gardening, hiking, down to the beach or just curling up in a hammock and reading a book!)

Physiotherapist
LAURA COOK
Laura joins the Inner Strength team with a wealth of physiotherapy and clinical pilates knowledge having trained and worked in New Zealand before making the move to Melbourne in 2019.
As a physiotherapist, Laura uses her skill set of hands-on manual therapy, soft tissue massage, clinical pilates and exercise prescription, western acupuncture, and dry needling in order to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. Laura loves building a strong relationship with her clients and prides herself on being proactive with your care. Once the “root cause” of any given condition is established Laura believes that education, body-awareness, and building stability are key to achieving the best long-term outcomes. She guarantees you feeling optimistic about your recovery and a ‘burn’ within the pilates studio.
Over her years of practicing, Laura has developed a special interest in treating pre-and-post natal clients, acute sporting or training injuries, and chronic postural dysfunctions. Having completed the PINC Cancer Certification course, Laura is also passionate about cancer rehabilitation and aims to inspire and encourage those undergoing or having gone through cancer treatment to regain confidence, strength, and optimise quality of life.
A few of Laura’s favourite things in life are a good book shop, a strong fruity long-black, and catching a few waves on her surfboard.
